There are 4 measurements to consider when purchasing a pair of jeans or denim shorts:

Front Rise
There are typically 3 types – low rise (7” – 8”), mid rise (8” – 9”) & high rise (9.5” – 10”). Use your favourite pair of jeans to measure the crotch to the top of the front waistband. -
Waist
Find your natural waistline. This is the narrowest part of your waist, about 1” above your navel. Ensure measurements for waist and hip are taken in centimeters to reflect true Mavi size. -
Hip
The hip should be measured around its fullest part (about 8” below your waist). -
Length
This is also known as inseam or inside leg. There are typically 3 types – crop (28” – 30”), regular (32”) & tall (34”). Use your favourite pair of jeans to measure from the crotch to the hem, down the inside leg. Denim short lengths will vary depending on the product.
